Purpose
The purpose of the Committee is to update our current materials and resources to support teachers and students for the classes below:
- Advanced Placement Economics
- Advanced United States Government & Politics
- International Baccalaureate Standard Level Economics
*AP curriculum and standards are dictated by College Board
*IB curriculum and standards are dictated by International Baccalaureate
Objectives
The objective of the Committee is to make a recommendation based on consensus to the SUSD Governing Board for materials to be adopted.
Time Commitment
Weekly in-person meetings from February to May for two hours per meeting.
Requirements:
Attendance at meetings 85% of the time
Be a Parent or Community member of SUSD
