Dear 11th Grade Arcadia High School Parent/Guardian and Students,
This year SUSD is offering all Juniors the opportunity to take the ACT exam, free of charge, during the school day on Wednesday, February 20th.
The ACT is an assessment that is used by colleges and universities as an entrance exam. The ACT assesses what students learn in high school and provides personalized information regarding academic strengths and career planning. The ACT contains multiple-choice tests in four areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. The writing portion of the ACT exam will not be given at this time.
Your 11th grade student is already registered for the exam and more information will follow from the district regarding the schedule for that day, which will be a late start day for non-testers. We encourage all 11th grade students to take part in this wonderful opportunity, whether or not it serves as a practice exam or your student’s official entrance exam. For more information on the ACT, please visit the ACT website: www.act.org
Please use this link to access resources for the exam, along with practice questions: ACT Practice
If you have any questions please see Mr. Bell or Mr. Zantello in the Testing Office.
