Notice of Changes
NOTICE OF CHANGES TO WIRELESS FACILITY
This notice is in regards to an existing ball field light pole at Pima Elementary School, which is also used for a wireless antenna array. The City of Scottsdale encourages the use of existing vertical elements for wireless facilities rather than installing new vertical elements. The light pole is located adjacent to the north baseball field at 8330 E. Osborn Rd., Scottsdale, Arizona 85251. Crown Castle, on behalf of Sprint, proposes to replace the existing antenna array which has (9) antennas, with a new antenna array with (6) antennas.
Sprint intends to submit an application to the City of Scottsdale for processing. The proposed antennas will replace an existing array at a height of 58’-6” on a pole that is 71’-6” tall. Ballfield lights are located above the antennas. The height of the pole will not change.
Sprint is committed to improving coverages areas and expanding network capacity to handle the growing number of wireless demands. Sprint’s improved wireless coverage will provide residents, visitors, and businesses with high quality, reliable wireless communication for both personal and business needs, and enhance emergency services.
