Summer Camp

Scottsdale Unified School District offers fun and affordable summer camp for children 3 to 14 years old at three locations in Scottsdale. SUSD’s Community Education department hosts numerous special events throughout the summer such as attending baseball games, exploring the Arizona Science Center, indoor mini-putt golf, and much more. Licensed and background-checked adults operate Summer Camp, so you can rest assured that your child is safe and will have a great time.

We offer Summer Camp at three elementary schools in Scottsdale: Hopi Elementary, Pima Traditional, and Redfield Elementary. The hours of Summer Camp are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Children will receive a complimentary snack, but parents and guardians will need to provide lunch.

A 10% sibling discount is available for the second and each successive sibling registered.  Please contact us at or  prior to enrolling for the camp.  You will be notified via email when the discount has been applied and you can register.

  • Summer Camp is unavailable between July 1 through July 5
  • Late fees will be incurred for registration received after the cut-off date noted above
  • No changing of days or refunding of missed days will be allowed
  • Monthly options may not be prorated
  • Off-site field trips are for grades Kindergarten and above
  • All programs are contingent upon enrollment

 How do I register and pay for Summer Camp?

To register and pay for SUSD Summer Camp, sign into your account on Touchbase. From there, you can add Summer Camp sessions and complete your purchase online.

 How much is Summer Camp?

Summer Camp is offered in two sessions: June and July. For convenience, parents may opt to purchase the entire month of Summer Camp.

The cost for the month of June is $600. (June 3–28, Mon-Fri) 
The cost for the month of July is $450. (July 8–26, Mon-Fri)

Individual days can be purchased for $35 per day.
Days that have been registered after the cut-off date are $45 per day. 


 What are the age requirements?

Children attending summer camp must be between 3 and 14 years old.

 What are the locations for Summer Camp?

Summer Camp is offered at Hopi, Pima, and Redfield elementary schools. 

 Do I need to pack a lunch for my child?

Yes, parents will need to provide their child a lunch.

 Does my child need to be potty-trained?

Yes, children will need to be potty-trained when attending summer camp.

 How does the 10% sibling discount work?
