Students who turn five years old between Sept. 1 and Dec. 31, 2019 may be screened using the Scottsdale Early Entrance Assessment Screening Tool. Screenings will take place the third week in June and the third week in July.
Friday, May 31 is the final day screening requests will be accepted for the 2019-2020 school year.
Bring a check for $85 and the application below to the Community Education office. Upon receipt of application and payment, Community Education will schedule your child’s test date and time.
Kids Club is a licensed before- and after-school program administered by Scottsdale Unified School District’s participating schools. Early Bird drop off begins at 6:30 a.m. After-school operates from school dismissal time until 6:30 p.m. Students are greeted each day by qualified child care specialists who facilitate activities that may include: arts and crafts, active group games, sports, team-building exercises, science, technology and supervised homework time. Snacks are served every day.
Enrichment Zone engages students before and after the school day on campus in fun activities that create a desire to learn. Classes are offered throughout the year, giving students an opportunity to explore activities that interest them outside of the regular school program.
SUSD Community Education offers tuition-based programs for Preschool (3s) and Pre-Kindergarten (4s).
