Ms. Jennifer Waldron

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is with great pride and excitement that I enter my 4th school year as the appointed Principal of Anasazi Elementary School.  I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a tradition of education excellence and parental involvement. Previous to becoming the proud principal of Anasazi, I was as an assistant principal for five years.  Three of those five years were spent serving our students within SUSD at both Redfield and Copper Ridge schools. My first two years of administration were spent at a K-8 school within another school district. Before becoming a school administrator, I worked for two years as an instructional technology specialist serving all schools in my past district facilitating professional development and coaching teachers in the areas of STEM and technology in grades K-8. Prior to that position, I served as a gifted resource teacher writing and facilitating professional development, coaching teachers and teaching gifted students in grades K-8. I started out my passion for serving students as a second-grade classroom teacher 17 years ago.

I am excited and eager to continue to bring my skills as an educational leader to Anasazi Elementary School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success. Along with the amazing Anasazi teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by Anasazi by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners.  My goal as a transformational leader is simple: always make decisions based on what is best for students by leading a learning community, having a deep sense of shared purpose, facilitating smooth school operations, and building positive community relationships. Throughout this school year we will all work together to continue our commitment to excellence for all.

Serving you children,

Ms. Jennifer Waldron
