Visitors & Volunteers

  • Parents who are scheduled to volunteer on campus are required to sign in at the front office, provide ID, and wear a visitor badge any time they are on campus. Other adult visitors must make arrangements with the front office to visit our campus. Student visitors are not permitted.

Dr. Amanda Rand JD, M.Ed.

    Dr. Rand has been an educator for 20 years and joined SUSD in 2013. She earned a Juris Doctor, Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and a Full Gifted Endorsement.  Before her move to SUSD, Dr. Rand worked in middle school administration and taught in the Madison School District.

    While working for SUSD she fulfilled the roles of district level Enrichment Specialist, Comprehensive Gifted Program teacher, Dean of Copper Ridge School, and Assistant Principal of Hopi Elementary.

    Her experience in the classroom is extensive as she taught in a variety of classroom settings; AEP pull out, self-contained gifted, gifted cluster, 6-8th grade ELA, K-4 Technology, and general education 3rd and 4th grade.

    Dr. Rand believes that a quality education grows from a positive school environment and it is important to nurture a collaborative culture grounded in common goals and relational trust.

    Melissa Faeh, M. Ed.

    Ms. Faeh is a proud Wisconsin native with a passion for teaching and learning that equals her passion for the Green Bay Packers!

    She has served various public school systems for over 23 years.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and later a Master’s Degree in Administration & Supervision from the University of Houston – Victoria.  Prior to joining the SUSD family, she taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades in public school districts in Florida and Texas.

    Ms. Faeh joined SUSD in 2011 as a 4/5 Combo teacher at Pueblo and later taught 5th grade in Pueblo’s Dual Language Immersion program.  She was recognized as an Outstanding Educator by the Scottsdale  Charros in 2014.  She served as the Assistant Principal at Sequoya, Kiva, and Hopi Elementary schools before coming to Redfield in 2019.

    Ms. Faeh believes that by working together we can help all students be successful learners.
