Principal Shelley Hummon
Mrs. Shelley Hummon is first and foremost a proud wife and mom of two children (one in college, one a senior in HS). She is a Scottsdale native and a product of the Scottsdale Unified School district. She attended Navajo, Pima (when it was a middle school), and Saguaro High School. Mrs. Hummon proudly served the Coronado Learning Community as a parent, teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal before being asked to take over the leadership at her current school. Shelley holds a bachelors in psychology and two masters degrees in elementary education and educational leadership. She is currently working on her doctorate in educational leadership and policy. Shelley is committed to dual-language as she is a Spanish speaker, who learned the language in school and abroad. She is proud to be the principal of the A+, award winning, Spanish/English, dual-immersion program, here at Pueblo elementary school.

Assistant Principal Emma Miranda
Mrs. Miranda has served in the Scottsdale Unified School District since 2006. She joined the Pueblo Family as the Assistant Principal in 2018. She previously worked at Tonalea K-8, where she taught language arts, math, and social studies to academically challenged students requiring specialized services. Mrs. Miranda earned a Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Education with a Dual Certification in Elementary and Special Education. She also has a Master’s Degree of Education in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. In 2016-2017 she was recognized as Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Miranda is proud that each of her 3 children has chosen to work in the field of Education.

Visitors & Volunteers
Parents who are scheduled to volunteer on campus are required to sign in at the front office, provide ID, and wear a visitor badge any time they are on campus. Other adult visitors must make arrangements with the front office to visit our campus. Student visitors are not permitted.
