Principal Matthew Patzlaff

Matthew Patzlaff brings many years of educational experience to the Scottsdale Unified School District. He began teaching and coaching at Desert Canyon Middle School in 2007, then serving as assistant principal at Copper Ridge K-8 before becoming principal of Navajo in 2017.  He has an elementary education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master's degree from Arizona State University in Educational Supervision and Leadership. When Mr. Patzlaff is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors and watching the Green Bay Packers.

Assistant Principal Angelia Keemle

Angie Keemle is the Assistant Principal at Navajo Elementary School.  She has been in education for over 20 years and has been the Assistant Principal at Navajo for the past four.  She has teaching and coaching experience in grades kindergarten thru eighth grade.  Mrs. Keemle has a bachelor’s degree in education with a master’s degree in literacy.  When Mrs. Keemle is not at Navajo, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, golfing, and reading.

Visitors

  • Parents who are scheduled to volunteer on campus are required to sign in at the front office, provide ID, and wear a visitor sticker any time they are on campus. Other adult visitors must make arrangements with the front office to visit our campus. Student visitors are not permitted.
