Principal Matthew Patzlaff
Matthew Patzlaff brings 15 years of educational experience to the Scottsdale Unified School District. This is his first year serving as Principal of Navajo Elementary School and his eleventh year with SUSD. Prior to serving Navajo, Mr. Patzlaff served as Assistant Principal of Copper Ridge K-8 School in SUSD. He has an elementary education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master's degree from Arizona State University in Educational Supervision and Leadership. When Mr. Patzlaff is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors and watching the Green Bay Packers.

Parents who are scheduled to volunteer on campus are required to sign in at the front office, provide ID, and wear a visitor sticker any time they are on campus. Other adult visitors must make arrangements with the front office to visit our campus. Student visitor are not permitted.
