  • Parents who are scheduled to volunteer on campus are required to sign in at the front office, provide ID, and wear a visitor sticker any time they are on campus. Other adult visitors must make arrangements with the front office to visit our campus. Student visitor are not permitted.

Principal Alice Spingola

Mrs. Spingola spent her life in Evergreen Park, Illinois; a suburb of Chicago.  She completed her undergraduate work at Northern Illinois University.  She has a Master’s Degree in Reading and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration. Mrs. Spingola has worked as a special education teacher and a general education teacher in first and fourth grades. Mrs. Spingola has also worked as a reading specialist and a district literacy and RtI coach.  Most recently Mrs. Spingola was the principal of a K-5 elementary school in Evergreen Park.

Assistant Principal Matt Gromek

Mr. Gromek has been with the Scottsdale School District for 8 years, with experience from kindergarten to high school. He has a bachelor degree in K-8 general education and a master’s degree in educational leadership. Previously, he served as an administrator in Scottsdale with Yavapai and Navajo Elementary Schools and Tonalea K-8.  This is Mr. Gromek's first year at Kiva.
