All Things EQ Academic & Leadership Skills
All Things EQ Academic and Leadership Skills is a schoolwide curriculum designed to improve students’ mindset, behavior, and engagement. It focuses on teaching students how their attitude, actions, and self-talk influence their success at school and in life. The program provides weekly lessons, teacher-friendly resources, and simple mindset practices that help students build skills like responsibility, perseverance, empathy, and positive decision-making.
A key component is the EQ Motto of the Week, which gives students and staff a shared language for behavior expectations, relationship-building, and problem solving. The goal is to create a consistent, supportive school culture where students feel connected, capable, and motivated.
These materials will be available for public review beginning November 21, 2025 through February 10, 2026. To schedule a review appointment, please contact Shannon Cronn at scronn@susd.org.
