Everyday Speech
Everyday Speech is a simple, digital program that helps children build clear and confident communication skills from preschool through high school. Created by speech‑language pathologists, the platform uses engaging videos, games, and ready‑made activities to show kids exactly how to navigate everyday situations—such as starting conversations, managing big feelings, and resolving conflicts. Designed to support all learners, including children with varied disabilities, Everyday Speech provides parents and educators with easy, no‑prep tools that can be used at home or in school. By teaching practical communication and conversation skills, strengthening perspective‑taking, and building self‑regulation and problem‑solving abilities, Everyday Speech allows children to practice real‑life scenarios through video modeling and interactive activities. As a result, children gain the communication tools they need to connect with others and feel more confident in their daily lives.
These materials will be available for public review beginning 03/13/2026 through 05/12/2026. To schedule a review appointment, please contact Donna Ramsey at dramsey@susd.org.
