The SUSD Academics Department communicates the expectations of state and District content standards and provides ongoing professional development to promote best practices for teaching and learning.
All content areas in SUSD teach the Arizona State Standards, specific to each grade level and course. For more information on the Arizona Department of Education Academic State Standards, please visit the Arizona Department of Education website.
School Letter Grades
The Arizona State Board of Education A-F School Letter Grades for the 2023-2024 school year have been released. We are happy to report that SUSD is an A rated district and that 29 of our 30 schools earned an A or a B rating.
