How did SUSD prepare you for success?
"Saguaro High School laid the groundwork basics in the sciences as biology and physics, mathematics as geometry and algebra, English, including Yearbook and speed reading, and the arts, including the visuals and performing arts. Such competencies led to entering the ASU Bachelor in Architecture program, receiving the degree in 1976 and going on to the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where Master’s in Architecture was received in 1977. Returned to Phoenix area and practiced architecture for the past 45 years. Approximately 225 projects & studies have been completed and include Scottsdale Loloma Transportation Center, Scottsdale Artists School Renovation, Stearns Bank-Arizona, SCC Applied Sciences, Scottsdale Appaloosa Branch Library, and others. Served on over 200 boards, commissions and committees. Honors include Scottsdale History Hall of Fame, SL Frank W. Hodges Alumni Achievement, AIA Fellowship & Architects Medal, & Friends of Scottsdale Public Library Literacy Award."
