Campus and Building Closures
Last Updated: 12/18/2020
This page will be updated as necessary to provide the latest information in the event of a change in the District’s operational status.
The decision to declare an emergency suspension of campus and facility operations, including class, athletic and extracurricular cancellations, is a data-informed, consultative process involving several stakeholders including parent, employee and student feedback and representatives from public safety, facilities, environmental, mental and public health representatives as well as school and district leadership. Decisions concerning class cancellations, facility closings and returning to online learning are, at a minimum, declared by the Superintendent, and in some cases, may be finalized by the Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board.
