Community Education Update
Kids Club Summer Camp will not be opening as expected. Providing we can ensure the safety of students and staff, our goal is to open on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Pima Elementary, Hopi Elementary and Redfield Elementary. CDC guidelines will be in place at each site. Enrollment information will be available May 21, 2020. Please see letter for more information.
We are excited to inform SUSD families that online high school summer school this year is free of charge to all currently enrolled high school SUSD students, pending space in online courses. Please see letter for more information.
Preschool/pre-K registration will open up for online registration on April 30th. Information will go out on our website prior to April 30th with directions and steps to follow. In the meantime if there are concerns about Early Learning please reach out to us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have extended the first payment deadline for Community Educations Preschool/Pre-K from June 1st until July 1st. On this date parents will have to pay the remainder of the first month payment of $499.00.
Registration for our Kids Club program for 2020-2021 has not opened online and will not be available until July.
Early Entrance Kindergarten Assessment is schedule for June 15 & June 16 and July 20th & 21st. Assessment will be held at Pima and Redfield. Testing will be scheduled for parents once we are able to reopen.

Enrichment Zone engages students before and after the school day on campus in fun activities that create a desire to learn. Classes are offered throughout the year, giving students an opportunity to explore activities that interest them outside of the regular school program.
Kids Club is a licensed before- and after-school program administered by Scottsdale Unified School District’s participating schools.
Early Bird drop off begins at 6:30 a.m. After-school operates from school dismissal time until 6:30 p.m. Students are greeted each day by qualified child care specialists who facilitate activities that may include: arts and crafts, active group games, sports, team-building exercises, science, technology and supervised homework time. Snacks are served every day.
SUSD offers tuition-based programs for Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K). Throughout our preschool and Pre-K programs, certified and licensed teachers provide developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to each child, ultimately preparing them for Kindergarten.
