MCDPH Quarantine Guidance

Scottdale Unified School District (SUSD) will adhere to Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) newly adopted guidelines beginning Wednesday, December 9, 2020. This document will supersede the former guidance in the COVID-19 Response Plan.

*Note: On 10/23/2020, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) modified the definition of a “close contact” in relation to COVID-19. Previously, CDC defined “close contact” as being within six feet of an infected person for 10 consecutive minutes. Now, “close contact” is defined as a total of 15 minutes within six feet of an infected person over the course of a 24-hour period.
