The mission of the ACE Program is to academically prepare students, increase graduation rates among first generation college bound students, and to assist students in making a seamless transition from high school into community college and then to transfer into a four-year university to complete a baccalaureate degree.
What is the ACE Program?
Two-year scholarship Program
Applications are only accepted during the students sophomore year.
If accepted, students attend college classes at Scottsdale Community College (SCC) during their junior and senior years of high school
Tuition is FREE
Students earn up to 24 college credits
Students are responsible for paying for their college textbooks
Who Qualifies?
Eligible applicants must be a high school sophomore and meet at least two of the following criteria:
First member of your family to attend college (neither parent can have a bachelor’s degree)
Live in a single-parent home, foster care or temporary housing
Economic hardship
Underrepresented ethnic group
Legacy - have a sibling or relative that participated in the ACE Program
