High School to College Bridge Programs

- Move into residence halls early
- Learn about college academic expectations
- Become familiar with campus and the resources available to you
- Get connected with staff and academic mentors dedicated to your success
- Make new friends
The STAR program is a challenging, fun, and rewarding program. In the classroom, you will be exposed to the academic rigors of college life while receiving valuable support from your class instructors, supplemental lab leaders, and peer advisers. There is a cost of $3,800, but includes 6 credit hours and dorms.
The New Start Summer Program is a six-week introduction to the best the University of Arizona has to offer. While students spend these weeks getting to know the campus, they will also take two courses (6-7 units), meaning they start off half a semester ahead! Equally important, they will have the opportunity to make great memories and lasting friendships before other freshmen have even stepped foot on campus.

PROMYS is a challenging program designed to encourage ambitious high school students to explore the creative world of mathematics. Each summer, approximately 80 high school students from around the country gather on the campus of Boston University for six weeks of rigorous mathematical activity. By submitting just one application, you are automatically considered for one of the national programs. You cannot choose to apply to one particular program.
