Health Services Coordinator |
The mission of the School Nurses of Scottsdale Unified School District
is to enhance the educational potential of all students by promoting
wellness and facilitating the resolution of health concerns which
create barriers to learning.
SUSD is proud to have a professional Registered
Nurse in each school, or the equivalent. (Some schools have
two nurses in a jobshare). In addition, some schools have health
clerk assistance.
Professional school nurses:
- Deliver needed health services and screening programs to the
school population.
- Manage the school Health Center.
- Provide health counseling for the school population and advocate
for the health rights of children and their families.
- Participate in health education program activities for students,
District personnel and the community.
If you have a question or problem related to school health, please
contact Mrs. Trahan or your school nurse.
