Our Goal
We are committed to providing a safe learning
environment that empowers all students to develop leadership, respect,
integrity, concern for others, and the courage to accept challenges.
We believe that our purpose is to educate all students to high ethical
and academic standards so that they are prepared to be academically
and professionally competitive in an ever-changing world.
In order to achieve this goal,
students address and progress towards the following
Six Pillars of Character:
- Trustworthiness
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Fairness
- Caring
- Citizenship
Mission
Our staff is committed to maintaining
a proactive environment in which students who have not achieved
success in the traditional environment feel valued, secure, and
self-confident. We serve students who have a documented history
of disruptive behavior/multiple suspensions, students with attendance
issues and/or are identified as dropouts, and students in poor academic
standing. Additionally, we foster a classroom atmosphere that addresses
academic, social, and emotional needs, motivating all students to
develop a positive attitude toward themselves, their community,
and their education.
