Scottsdale schools offer Summer School Program

Want to earn extra high school credits to get ahead or to catch up while staying cool this summer? Scottsdale Unified School District is offering Summer School academics at Saguaro High School, 6250 N. 82nd St., Scottsdale.

The first session of Academic Summer School I begins on June 7-24, 2004 and Session II begins on July 5-22. Classes are in session from 7 a.m. to noon Monday thru Thursday. Summer school cost: $225 for residents and $250 for non-residents. The deadline mail-in registration is April 23 and the last scheduled walk-in registration is May 17.

Each session counts as a semester credit (.05). For one full credit, both sessions will need to be taken. Classes are now forming with registration brochures available at all school sites, the SUSD Education Center or online at: www.susd.org

The district celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1996.
