SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (September 20, 2005) Scottsdale Unified School District invites parents, teachers and community members to attend The Academy workshop entitled Substance Use Prevention – Signs & Symptoms, at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, September 28, in Building 9 at the Paiute Neighborhood Center, 6535 E. Osborn Road, Scottsdale.

This session will focus on information and tools to assist in determining if your teen may be experimenting with drugs.

The program will be presented by Community Bridges. Community Bridges' mission is to provide the highest quality clinical treatment, community development, family preservation, prevention and education services to assist communities to reduce crime, lower health care costs, decrease dependence on welfare, and minimize "revolving door" use of scarce public services by providing a continuum of care that begins with prevention and continues for individuals and families through treatment and recovery.
