Parent/Teacher workshop focuses on stress management for teens
Scottsdale Unified School District invites parents, teachers, administrators and community members to attend the Parent/Teacher Academy workshop entitled Isn’t it his age? Stress Management for Adolescents at 6:30 p.m., on Monday, May 9, in the auditorium of Arcadia High School, 4703 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.
This session will focus on the stressors affecting adolescents. Participants will acquire skills to help teens cope in today’s society.
The program will be presented by the Jewish Family and Children's Service (JFCS). JFCS is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that strengthens the community by providing high quality behavioral health and social services to children, families and adults of all ages throughout Maricopa County.
In addition, teachers who attend the presentation can receive Career Ladder hours or staff development points, as well as recertification credits.
