Workshop Aimed at Helping Kids Find Their Motivation

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (September 7, 2005) Scottsdale Unified School District invites parents, teachers and community members to attend The Academy workshop entitled Help Kids Find Their Motivation from 6 to 7 p.m., on Tuesday, September 13, in the Media Center at Chaparral High School, 6935 E. Gold Dust Ave., Scottsdale.

This session will focus on ways that parents can help their children to discover and harness their own motivation to succeed in whatever they do.

The presentation will be given by The Waypoint Group, which provides specialized mental health, consulting, and training services to assist individuals, families, businesses and organizations in navigating change.

In addition, teachers who attend the presentation can receive Career Ladder hours or staff development points, as well as recertification credits.
