Martin Luther King III to address Scottsdale’s Celebration Honoring his Father
Martin Luther King III, the oldest son of Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. is the featured guest speaker at the Eleventh
Annual Scottsdale Community Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner Celebration, hosted by Community Celebrating Diversity (CCD) and APS.
Martin Luther King III has taken the torch lit by his father and continued the quest for equality and justice for all. A human rights advocate, community activist and a political leader, Mr. King has been actively involved in significant policy initiatives that help to maintain fair and equitable treatment of all citizens at home and abroad.
With his poignant message of hope and responsibility, Martin Luther King III will appear at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort at Gainey Ranch ballroom, 7500 E. Doubletree Ranch Road, on Monday, January 10, 2005 to honor his father, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Hosted by ABC 15s evening news anchor Katie Raml, the event will feature the recognition of Scottsdale’s Diversity Champions and live entertainment from the CC Jones’ Orchestra and the Antioch Missionary Baptist Choir.
