Scottsdale student honor choir to perform Nov. 10
More than 300 children from fifth through 12th grades were selected through an audition process to perform in a Scottsdale Unified School District Honor Choir Concert at 7 p.m., Nov. 10, in the auditorium at Saguaro High School, 6250 N. 82nd St., Scottsdale.
Three separate choirs—elementary school, middle school and high school—will perform music of the highest caliber and difficulty.
For this event, which is a free public event, guest conductors will direct each choir. The elementary school conductor is Lorena Abbott, a music teacher at Pueblo Elementary School. The middle school conductor is Michelle Beard Maxwell, a chorus, guitar and piano teacher at Arcadia High School. The high school conductor is Mason Schreiber, a chorus teacher at Mountain View High School in the Mesa Unified School District.
