Special Day for Special Kids Golf Tournament April 2

Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary Club and Scottsdale Unified School District’s (SUSD) Service Learning Program are teaming up for the second annual Special Day for Special Kids Golf Tournament at noon on Friday, April 2 at Silverado Golf Club, 7605 E. Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale.

All proceeds from the event will assist the Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary Club with funding for Special Day for Special Kids, SUSD Service Learning Program activities and college scholarships for selected SUSD students.

“This is the second year that businesses and community stakeholders have the opportunity to get involved and help support the Special Day for Special Kids event,” said John Baird, director of Community Schools and Service Learning.

This year’s golf tournament event will include a four-man scramble and will be competitively handicapped for players of all levels. Prizes will be awarded for the longest drive and closest to the pin on selected holes. The cost to attend the event is $110 per player and $400 per foursome. The fees include a green fee, cart, tee gifts and lunch. Registration and payment are due by March 26.
