Cultural festival coincides with Mohave School anniversary

The Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) will celebrate cultural diversity at a fall festival from 5 to 7 p.m., Nov. 6, at Mohave Middle School, 5520 N. 86th Street, Scottsdale. The festival also coincides with Mohave Middle School’s 40th anniversary.

This third annual event is one of the many community outreach activities from SUSD’s English Immersion Studies and Native American programs.

Mohave Middle School’s Parent Teacher Organization and the student council will be selling pizza, refreshments, and candy in the cafetorium. The Coronado Don-cers, Native American dancers, and Lu’s martial arts performers will provide entertainment. The festival is open to the public at no cost.
