Cultural festival coincides
with Mohave School anniversary
The Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD)
will celebrate cultural diversity at a fall festival from 5 to 7
p.m., Nov. 6, at Mohave Middle School, 5520 N. 86th Street, Scottsdale.
The festival also coincides with Mohave Middle School’s 40th
anniversary.
This third annual event is one of the many community
outreach activities from SUSD’s English Immersion Studies
and Native American programs.
Mohave Middle School’s Parent Teacher Organization
and the student council will be selling pizza, refreshments, and
candy in the cafetorium. The Coronado Don-cers, Native American
dancers, and Lu’s martial arts performers will provide entertainment.
The festival is open to the public at no cost.
