Scottsdale schools, JFCS informs
parents about anger management
If it seems your child's anger problems
are escalating out of control, do not lose hope. There is help for
parents of children with anger management problems. Scottsdale Unified
School District invites parents, teachers, administrators and community
members to attend Anger Management/Conflict Resolution: Helping
with Expression at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Saguaro
High School’s auditorium, 6250 N. 82nd Street, Scottsdale.
The program will be presented by
the Jewish Family and Children's Service (JFCS). JFCS is a non-profit,
non-sectarian organization that strengthens the community by providing
high quality behavioral health and social services to children,
families and adults of all ages throughout Maricopa County.
In addition, teachers who attend
the presentation can receive Career Ladder hours or staff development
points, as well as recertification credits.

Communicating with Adolescents, Is This Normal? Depression
and Suicide Risk and Rules for Engagement: Helping Kids
