Scottsdale schools, JFCS informs community about ADHD
Scottsdale Unified School District invites parents, teachers, administrators and community members to attend Help, My Child Has ADHD at 6:30 Tuesday, March 1, in the auditorium at Coronado High School, 2501 N. 74th St., Scottsdale.
This highly informative session will focus on information and skills to help manage school-aged children’s behaviors related to ADHD. Techniques will be taught for use at home and in the classroom.
The program will be presented by the Jewish Family and Children's Service (JFCS). JFCS is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that strengthens the community by providing high quality behavioral health and social services to children, families and adults of all ages throughout Maricopa County.
In addition, teachers who attend the presentation can receive Career Ladder hours or staff development points, as well as recertification credits.
