Students to perform 6th annual Scottsdale Concert Band Festival
Band students from Cheyenne Traditional School, Laguna and Zuni elementary schools, Desert Canyon, Ingleside Mountainside and Supai middle schools will perform at the 6th annual Scottsdale Concert Band Festival on March 8-9.

• 7:45 a.m.-3:40 p.m., on Tuesday, March 8, in the Band Room at Mountainside Middle School, 11256 N. 128th St., Scottsdale.
• 7:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 9, in the Band Room at Mountainside Middle School, 11256 N. 128th St., Scottsdale.
• 9 a.m.-4 p.m., on Wednesday, March 9, in the Band Room at Supai Middle School, 6720 E. Continental, Scottsdale.

Students will perform traditional, classical concert band music of festival nature, including overtures, ballads and marches. For this free public event, students will be conducted by their band directors – Karen Wevursky, Cheyenne Traditional School; Mark Winans, Laguna and Zuni elementary schools; Jordan Greenbaum, Desert Canyon Middle School; Geoffrey Andress, Ingleside Middle School; Russ Capri, Mountainside Middle School; and Sally Dubensky, Supai Middle School.

Scottsdale elementary and middle school students were invited to attend the concert. Other Valley schools represented in the concert are Kyrene Middle School and Scottsdale Christian Academy.
