The Governing Board voted 4-0 to adopt the FY2005-2006 proposed expenditure budget. The Governing Board is required by statute to adopt the fiscal budget each year by July 15. There have been no changes to the proposed budget for the adoption. The 2005-2006 budget is available on SUSD’s Web site at: http://www.susd.org/district/businessservices/budget.cfm.
In other action, the Board:
- Approved the Teacher Employment Agreement.
- Approved the Administrative and Support Employment Agreement.
- Approved the Classified Employment Agreement.
- Approved Cheyenne Traditional School’s dress code as presented at the June 21 Board meeting.
- Approved public utility easement to the Salt River Project for electrical supply line at ANLC.
- Accepted gifts valued at $156,580. The gifts were received from Anasazi PTO, C.H.A.P.T.S., Cochise, Desert Canyon Elementary School, Hopi PTA, Kiva PTO, Sequoya APT, Barrmatt, Boeing, Charro Don Chiapetti, General Mills, Scottsdale Association of Realty and Scottsdale Community College.
The next Governing Board meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m., Tuesday, August 16, at the Education Center.
