The District's Governing Board recognizes that
systematic study of the educational process and related variables
can contribute significantly to the development and implementation
of high quality instructional programs. The Board, therefore, encourages
the conducting of well-designed educational research projects within
the District by its staff and other professionals outside the District.
However, in order to ensure that research conducted
will be meaningful, we must have an opportunity to carefully evaluate
each research request. The procedures for conducting research in
our district are accessible through the link below. By completing the form"Request
to Conduct Research in the Scottsdale Unified School District,"
you will facilitate this effort.
Once you have completed and submitted this form,
the proposal will be reviewed and a preliminary recommendation will
be made. The appropriate District administrator will then be contacted
for his/her concurrence, and the joint recommendation, if necessary,
will be submitted to the Superintendent for approval or submission
to the Governing Board.
Please contact Elden Cozort, the Coordinator of
Research, at 480-484-6278 if you have specific questions or need
additional information.
