2002 Achievement Profiles for
Scottsdale Unified Schools

*The state is still verifying data for Desert Canyon ES, but we believe it will be assigned an achievement profile of “improving.”

*Sierra Vista Academy has applied for alternative school status and its achievement profile will be released at a later time by the state.

*Copper Ridge ES and Copper Ridge MS are not included, since they do not have three years of data.

Definitions

Excelling Refer to statute

Improving School exceeds state performance and progress goals

Maintaining Performance School meets state performance goals and needs to meet state progress goals

Underperforming School needs to meet state performance and progress goals
