MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING

OF THE GOVERNING BOARD

SCOTTSDALE SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 48

March 5, 2002

A Special Meeting of the Governing Board of the Scottsdale Unified School District, #48, Maricopa County, was called to order at 7:15 PM, at the Scottsdale School District Education Center Board Room, 3811 North 44^th Street, Phoenix, Arizona.

Board Members in attendance were Barbara A. Newby, President; David R. Goldstaub, Clerk; Shari Avianantos; and Sandra Zapien-Ferrero. Thomas C. Carey was absent. Superintendent Barbara F. Erwin joined the meeting at 8:30 PM. A quorum was present.

The Board voted to convene in Executive Session for:

A. Discussion/consideration regarding Superintendent’s Evaluation, pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1).

At 8:55 PM, the Special Meeting reconvened and was adjourned.
