MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING

OF THE GOVERNING BOARD

SCOTTSDALE SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 48

February 11, 2002

A Special Meeting of the Governing Board of the Scottsdale Unified School District, #48, Maricopa County, was called to order at 7:25 PM, at the Scottsdale School District Education Center Board Room, 3811 North 44^th Street, Phoenix, Arizona.

Board Members in attendance were Barbara A. Newby, President; David R. Goldstaub, Clerk; Shari Avianantos; and Thomas C. Carey. Sandra Zapien-Ferrero was absent. A quorum was present.

Mrs. Avianantos moved to convene in Executive Session for:

Discussion/consideration regarding Superintendent’s Evaluation, pursuant to

A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1).

Mr. Goldstaub seconded the motion.

The motion was approved with a vote of 4 – 0.

At 8:50 PM, the Special Meeting reconvened.

Mr. Carey moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Goldstaub seconded the motion.

The motion was approved with a vote of 4 – 0.
