Welcome to the Scottsdale Unified School District! You were selected from many applicants as being the best of the best, and we look forward to working with you this year. As a new teacher to Scottsdale Unified School District, you will be receiving support from the New Teacher Induction program offered by the District. Assistance to new Scottsdale teachers is available in the form of mentoring, training and on-site support. Our goal is to assist you in making your first year in Scottsdale as positive and productive as possible.

Curriculum Training for Returning Teachers
On Tuesday, August 4, 2009 as part of our New Teacher Orientation Training, there will be a curriculum overview training offered at Coronado High School from 8:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Agendas with room locations will be given to participants on the morning of August 4th.
This is a great opportunity for returning teachers who are changing grade levels or content areas.
It is VERY important that returning teachers register with Sabrina Heavlin at 480-484-4040 or sheavlin@susd.org by no later than FRIDAY, JULY 24, 2009 or these sessions will not be offered.
