"Excelling School" for 2007-2008
Congratulations Chargers! Cherokee was named an "Excelling School" for the 2007-2008 school year. This makes SIX consecutive years being labeled an "Excelling School" - 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and now 2008! It is the highest designation given to an elementary school.

Silver Apple Award

Scottsdale Republic to Feature SUSD Teachers
Do you know an outstanding teacher in the Scottsdale Unified School District? Would you like that teacher to be recognized in the newspaper? The Scottsdale Republic runs a new weekly feature highlighting a different SUSD teacher each week. To nominate a teacher for this feature, simply fill out the online Teacher Nomination Form.
